It seems like everything disappears
All you can think about are happy fears
I promise, at least once, tonight you'll scream
Take a look around
Nothing's what it seems

A haunted house may be real
Step on in, tell me how you feel
You know they're costumes, it's all fake
But let's see how much
you can really take

You in your darkness, me in my costume
I know this joy will never end with you
And I know that tonight I won't sleep
I'll have been eating
too many sweets

I hope we get chocolate, I think it's the best
Whatever you don't eat, I'll eat the rest
My legs are growing weak from all this walking
But somehow I just
can not stop laughing

The next day, I know for sure
Our stomaches will hurt, our legs will be sore
But we don't care, let's keep on going
What never comes
is tomorrow morning

Door to door, we run and run
This entire night is frightening fun
As we slow down and the night comes to an end
I see halloween as
my best friend
