Hello fellow Whyvillians. A very exciting event is happening in Whyville! The very talented recording artist Stacie Orrico will be hosting her own chat session and concert with Whyville. Check out all the details, and make sure to mark your calendar, you won't want to miss this . . .

When?

Saturday, December 9th at 2pm Whyville Standard Time (that's Pacific Time, if you didn't know)

Where?

Whyville.net, at the Greek Theater

Will Stacie really be there?

Yes! Stacie Orrico will be LIVE, at the Greek Theater. She will chat with those in attendance and play some of her music.

Can I come up on stage and meet Stacie?

Believe it or not, YES! Several lucky Whyville citizens will be invited on stage to chat with Stacie one-on-one.

NEW NOTE: Because we expect so many new people to be attending the concert and we don't want them to get lost in our town, from about 1 PM to 3 PM on Saturday all Whyville logins will be directed to the Tailgate Party and the Concert. All other locations will be 'closed'. But Whyville will return to normal after 3 PM and before the Scion Owner's Event at 3:30 PM. (See below for more details.)

Do I need a ticket?

No, you can just show up. The event is free. But, if you want to sit next to your friends, consider reserving your seats ahead of time at the Greek Theater Ticket Booth. Reserved seats cost 20 clams each.

Do I need to register for an account?

You don't need to, but it's a good idea. If you register for an account ahead of time, you can take the time to personalize your Whyville face and set up your chat privileges, so you can look your best and chat with friends during the concert.

Will there be Stacie Orrico concert gear?

Of course. There'll be limited edition souvenirs available at the Tailgate Party before the concert to buy using Whyville clams. Show up early to browse the selection!

Will there be any fun stuff going on before the concert?

You mean, like a tailgate party? Absolutely. The tailgate party will start an hour early, at 1 pm Whyville time.

Will there be an after-party?

Yes. Scion is sponsoring an "Owners' Event" after party at 3:30 PM. You'll need to arrive in a Scion. If you don't have one, get a ride from a friend.

Can I catch the concert as a re-run after the fact?

We'll be recording the concert for re-runs. Check the calendar on your Welcome Page in the days following the concert.

Will Whyville do more of these concerts?
