The seventh grade wasn't much fun for me
My B.F.F. had just moved away, you see
I was kinda weird and kinda unique
Most of the other kids thought I was a big freak
I was often alone because of all this
But then came an opportunity I couldn't miss
These twins had just came to our school
I would've ignored them if I wasn't such a fool
I was nice to them on their very first day
The only one to do so, I'd like to say
But then they made friends with this one shy girl
And my life quickly went downhill in a whirl
Just when being alone wasn't feeling as bad
Those three liked to come pick on me and get me sad
I was the only one who hadn't treated them like snot
And this was the fine reward I got!
But meanwhile something else was going down
Whyville was getting popular in my town
It seemed cool as far as I could tell
So I joined even though the three jerks had as well
I floated into the Why House one fine afternoon
Several of my online friends greeted my cartoon
At the time I didn't know how lucky I was
That they chose to log on that time and place because
Just then one of the jerks walked on inside
I filled with horror and wanted to hide
Found out later she with one of the twins on the phone
So pretty soon both of them had invaded my zone
I whispered to all my virtual buds in a rush
Those two are BAD NEWS, we better just hush
But unfortunately they saw me, thinking they're cool
They started to pick on me just like at school
I wanted to scream, I wanted to cry
Why wasn't it bad enough they ruined my real life, why?
But my Whyvillian pals weren't gonna stand for that
They started to pile on top of me and there they sat
They hurled projectiles and insults at those jerks
I never realized friendship had such great perks!
Pretty soon they got bored taunting me
And taunted someone I'd admired since grade three
I shook with rage, the room felt hotter
You can pick on me, but don't even diss Harry Potter!
Did they get away with it? Heck no!
The rest of the room were Potter fans also!
So then every single one except those two
Were doing their best to make them shoo
Everyone on top of me typing "DEFEND KIMKER!"
I can't believe how many yucks and mudballs there were!
Victory came, they poofed away
My confidence soared through the roof that day!
I gave all my defenders clams for their trouble
Inside me was an unpoppable happy bubble
Words cannot say what this site did for me
That's the story of my favorite Whyville memory!
