The soft tears you make me cry,
Could make an angel fall from the sky,
Stammering upwords you look to me,
And the truth pours as I plea,

The look on your face when you find it's all a lie,
Would make a dove drop down and die,
I try to help but nothing works,
and in the shadows something lurks,

The anger in your voice when you can't handle it anymore,
Could stop the boats from coming to shore,
I look away but it doesn't numb the pain,
Where there should be a heart, I find a stain,

The clench of your fists when your ready to fight back,
Could make all the concrete in the world crack,
I cry out but there's nobody there,
As I back up against a wall trying to avoid your stare,

The emotion on your face as you take out your anger on me,
Could rot out the insides of the strongest tree,
You leave and I silently wish never to see you again
, But I know you will be back next weekend . . .
