I hear the words that you are saying
I see the confusion on your face
You are breaking my heart, so how come I am not crying

You are telling me that it was fate
This had to end
I just laugh

I knew it was coming
I had prepared myself
I had made myself a coat of armor

You have stepped on other hearts before
You have made tears come from beautiful faces
I was going to play you before you played me

So now I just smile
Because you can't hurt me
You are only hurting yourself
I just laugh
