The Oceans and the Sands
never far apart,
they always seemed to love each other
right from the start.
The beach is always burning hot
from a farther friend named Sun.
But Oceans cool the burning feet
Of people having fun.
The Ocean travels around the world,
The beach just stays right here,
Yet when the Beach is back from trips,
He brings a souvenir.
It wouldn't be the same,
if one friend was gone,
There's someone named Erosion;
he's been here all along.
While sands may be leaving,
The ocean grows to size,
And people wonder "Where's the beach?"
When there is a bigger tide.
Although these friends have flaws,
they love eachother forever,
Even when the waters cold,
It's just because it's December!
