Wyatt. He's always been just Wyatt to me. Lovable, hilarious, cocky Wyatt. I had never taken the time to think about what an amazing individual he was, until now. Everyone knew him. My family, my teachers, my distant friends. They had all heard Wyatt's name pop up on a few occasions, and for the lucky, they met him. It's hard to forget a character like Wyatt.

I met him at a small Taekwondo tournament 3 years ago. Because of a swollen ankle, I wasn't competing, I had come to support my teammates, and do whatever task popped into my instructor, Mr. Miranti's, head at the moment. Near the last hour of the competition, one of the scoring computers crashed, and I was sent to check out the situation. The computer had to be fixed immediately, so the two competitors could continue with the match. When I arrived, a few adults were scurrying off to find Master Ward, an elderly Taekwondo instructor who had worked with computers all his life. Left with the responsibility of maintaining the computer for the time being was a slim black belt. He was, at the moment, fussing over tangled wires and swearing softly. I stifled a laugh, and knelt beside him.

A few minutes after I arrived, Mr. Miranti's smooth voice carried through the intercom. "All red and black belts report to the holding area immediately. Red belt sparring will start in 6 minutes. Re peat: 6 minutes." The black belt looked up at me, a pleading look on his face. It was the first time I had gotten a look at it, for his chin length chocolate hair had been covering it. I realized he was my age. Catching his look, I waved him off. "I'll stay here. Go get ready." The teenager smiled, and stuck out his hand. "Wyatt," he said, smiling slightly. His voice was husky and rough, but had a confident air about it. I grinned as he jogged away. I liked this guy.

Over the years, Wyatt had made his permanent home at our house. Or it seemed. He would come over almost every afternoon. We used to get into trouble, listen to music, or laugh until our sides stung. Wyatt. Sure, he was cocky, yeah, he had an unending well of black humor. So what, he was sickly good at everything he did. :P He is a wonderful, sensitive guy, brilliant and talented. And I want to tell you more about him.

Wyatt was born in Pennsylvania in 1991, and then moved to New York City when he was 7. Wyatt's father was a Taekwondo champion, top-notch black belt, and amazingly athletic guy. He helps alongside Mr. Miranti in our training school. Wyatt has an older sister, Cassidy who is going to college in Georgia at the moment, and twin younger brothers, Max and Markese.

Wyatt is a people person. He can't help it. He lives for making people laugh, and adding a spark to their day. He usually succeeds. Not only is Wyatt an entertainer, but also almost freakishly smart. Talking with him about school or politics is like talking to an encyclopedia. He knows tons about the most random things. I know that in his spare time he sits down at the computer, and researches little things, cramming all this information into his head. Pages and pages of it. Lord, he scares me when we are walking down the street, and he suddenly pipes up about a certain car engine, or a wrinkle in the political circle.

Around strangers, Wyatt is really quite and shy. He smirks a lot, or drawls out a few sarcastic comments, and that???s it. Around his friends, Wyatt is one of the most outgoing people I know. He loves doing crazy things, mainly jumping off something high and landing on something hard. And when I mean something hard, I mean concrete or other people. That's pretty much what you find in New York City. One of us casually dares him to do something, and he puts on a quirky smile and amazes us all. He's not an idiot. Wyatt just knows his limits. Apparently, his limits go farther than mine.

Wyatt isn't all fun and laughter, though.

Once Wyatt gets concentrated on something, he sticks to it. Especially Taekwondo. Nothing can break his focus while he is training. Although he's helpful, and kind in class, anybody can see that steely look in his eye, and they basically leave him be. Smart choice. Wyatt puts all his effort into the movements, performing them perfectly. A true Taekwondo successor.

On Whyville, Wyatt is quietly working on making it a better environment by bringing his laughter and radiance with him. He doesn't get into the chat rooms, or Akbars. He comes on to learn new things, meet new people, and keep in touch with old friends. I say Wyatt is fulfilling Whyville's goal completely. While Wyatt hasn't done anything huge in Whyville, little details are enough.

I've been one of the very few people to see Wyatt's rage. He doesn't get upset over small stuff, but a few things happen once and awhile that just set his blood boiling. His angriness isn't yelling, beat the wall down, sweaty mad rage. On the other hand, it's quite, but bitter. So bitter. It was almost a relief to see that side of him.

Wyatt makes everything exciting, comfortable, and full of humor. He's one of the few individuals I can say that about. I don't think anyone online can really appreciate what an awesome guy Wyatt really is, and that's why I wrote this. To just give it a shot. I think it would be a loss if you didn't know him.

I met so many people that deserve WITS, but above all, Wyatt has always reoccurred. He's almost scarily down to earth and real, deep to say the least. Clever and self-assured. Mysterious, handsome, intelligent, hilarious.

Wyatt. And I hope this will be enough.
