There was one very special day that to me, is not easily forgotten. I remember that day as if it happened yesterday. I met a darling girl, named Sussie. She has been my best friend for over 7 years. I have been friends with her since I was a little girl. The day we met was a spectacular day. Right now, we are currently best friends, and I don't know how I can live without her. She has ruly changed my life.

It was a very bright morning, as I was getting ready to go to the mall with my mom. My mom was changing outfits when I was waiting outside the fitting room, when I spotted Sussie. I figured out that she lived in Burbank, the same city as me. And I quickly ran over to her, as I knew we could be great friends, from her friendly face. I was anxious to get to know her, because I thought she might not like me. But luckily, she did.

We have a lot of things in common, and so we just held hands and we wouldn't let go. Her mom and my mom started bonding, and they became great friends too! I was talking and playing with Sussie. I didn't want to go anywhere without her, for she was my new best friend. We would hug every two minutes and when we had to depart, we both started crying. And so my mom decided that she would get Sussie's mom phone number, and we could see each other again. And so every week we would either be hanging out or at each other's houses. And I loved every minute of it. We would play every day together in the playground in her backyard.

A couple of years later when I was around 5 or 6, we would always talk on the phone and we loved each other so. We never were apart and always having fun. After that, we would hang out more and more each day. What we were lucky about was that we lived in the same city, and we both went to the same school for many years. We would go to Palm Springs, and Las Vegas, everywhere! Actually, this coming weekend, Sunday, June 17, Father's Day, we are going to Las Vegas together! She has changed everything about me. My boring personality to a fun, and cool person, and I have changed her to an artistic, and great person!

Now, I have moved from Burbank, to Glendale, and I won't be going to the same school as Sussie. I am very sad, but I know that we will find a way to K.I.T. (keep in touch). And we will still hang out every week. We are still on the phone, and everyday I talk to her or hang out with her I feel more close to her. Sussie, is more than a best friend to me. She is like a sister to me. And without her, I'm not sure I would be able to ever make a new friend as caring, generous, and spectacular as Sussie.

Up to this very day, I do not think there has been a day that Sussie and I have been apart from each other. She is my best friend, and I hope to keep things that way until I die. Our parents are now great friends, and I feel very close to her parents.
