Eh! It's rochrox here again, but this week with a very special Whyvillian in the Spotlight segment. I'd like you all to give a round of applause to this week's featured Whyvillian, letterox!

So, why did I nominate letterox for this week's WITS? She's not a Y-Mail Helper, or a Face Part Designer, she's not even a writer in the Whyville Times! I chose letterox because she's an awesome person, and a contributing member to the Whyville community, and that's what Whyville is all about.

Letterox is a returning member of Whyville, who has been on her account since December 2, 2006. She logs on almost every day, so she's always there to talk to. Letterox is always friendly to everyone! She is so generous by helping citizens improve their salaries, and donating her used face parts to citizens in need.

Let me tell you a little bit more about letterox (A.K.A Arlette). She's one of my closest friends in real life. Arlette first came to my school in grade 1, after moving to Canada from Holland. Even though we went to the same school, we were always in different classes, so I never really got to know her until grade 5. That year, we both attended a program for our school in Welland, where we became friends.

Arlette is a really fun person to be around, whether it's playing a sport of just hanging out at recess. She was elected the Deputy Prime Minister of our school's Student Council this year, as well as a player on the soccer and basketball teams. Arlette stepped in as one of the lead roles in our musical a week before the production, and she received the Music Award at school this year.

Near the end of the school year, my class spent a lot of time in the computer lab. Arlette was constantly helping out our classmates discover Whyville. She sat with them, showing them what games to play, and helped everyone out with sorting garbage at the cafeteria!

Letterox represents an all-around good Whyville citizen. She's friendly, fun, and helpful. Not because she has to be, but because she wants to be. So, if you bump into letterox at the beach, be sure to say "hi" to her! Need some help in the cafeteria? Just ask her! Want an intense game of Chinese Checkers? Challenger her! Whyville is such a fun place to be because of great people like letterox.
