Picture this; August 15th, 2006, at about 8:00 AM on a summer morning you get up, because you couldn't sleep, to log online and onto Whyville and check your mail, and get one from a friend of yours, biddygurl, saying that she needs to talk to you. So we meet each other in a chatroom, and she breaks the news gently . . . that your Whyville friend, Danni (aka armada), who had been struggling with a fight against ovarian cancer, had passed away. Yes, the one you had talked to a billion times, you'd never talk to her again. But I sort of got to say goodbye, others did not.

Well it's been exactly one year as I'm writing this, and it's hard to talk about the subject. I really don't know what to write because it's hard to write about it, but this event needs a remembrance, so I'll tell you some things about Danni:

She was the best writer I'd ever met, and probably the wisest, even though she was only 14. If you want to see any of her poems, just use the advanced search tool and put her name in the author bar.

She was a huge fan of Monty Python, and she loved Bob Dylan and Pink Floyd, so everyone turn up 'Another Brick In The Wall Pt.2', or any other Pink Floyd or Bob Dylan songs on their iTunes if they've got 'em.

She was the Vice President of the Whyville Pirates, a club that was based on boycotting the Whyville Senate Race that had over 100 members. It was a big club.

And anyone who had ever met her would agree she was very nice and likable.

She and Frooface had gone to Cedar Point Amusement Park to meet, because they were such good friends.

We also know that everyone will always remember her, even as we stray farther from August 15, 2006.

If you're reading this right now Danni, we love you.

Well, I can't write much more, but I have to end you off with her famous quote...

So long, and thanks for all the fish, this is Ps2man1.

Post your memories with and about her in the BBS of this article.
