Dear Times,
I am CoolNana and I kinda have an opinion page that I would like
to get put into the Times. It is about the world and about kids.
I live in Canada, where recently a family friend murdered a little girl.
She was only going next door!
In another place, a little boy got run over -- he was riding his
bike and he was in between two cars and he went onto the street and got
ran over accidentally. And then there's vandalism, a big thing, and there was a
shootin' -- a guy was being chased, and then he shot the police dog,
and then the police shot at him.
What is the world coming to? The way that
this world is falling apart is not good! We want to be civilized but we
kinda aren't. So all the people that read this remember, there is no way for
the world or your country to be perfect. We all WISH that all the bad people
could be caught, but it is impossible. So I am just telling you, pleeze be
careful with what you do, don't be stupid.
And the thing about some kids, parents think that since one or two
kids are bad that the rest are. Well, it doesn't work that way. We all may
do stupid things but, only a few kids do REALLY stupid things. So pleeze don't
you ever forget that. Oh yeah, and try to think of an answer that is true for
this:
WANTED:
COUNTRY THAT IS CIVILIZED AND CRIMELESS.
I WOULD LIKE TO HEAR ABOUT THIS COUNTRY BY A YEAR FROM DECEMBER 30th, 2001.
PLEEZE Y-MAIL ME WHEN YOU FIND IT.
We all know that finding the world that matches that description is highly
impossible. Sad, isn't it?
