Should American students go to school on September 11th? It is such an important day in history, so, I wondered. I asked a couple of Whyvillians these questions.

I had a chance to interview Geisha16, a well-respected, y-mail helper.

Brunetty2: Should students go to school on September 11th?
Geisha16: Yes they should.
Brunetty2: Why do you think so?
Geisha16: It's an important day in history, but education is very important.
Brunetty2: What if you had a family member die on this day?
Geisha16: Well I would be sad, but it has been 6 years. I would probably not be that sad.
Brunetty2: Well thank you for your time.
Geisha16: Anytime!!

I had a chance to interview smiley76, another well-respected, y-mail helper.

Brunetty2: Should students go to school on September 11th?
Smiley76: No, I don't know why they haven't taken off before.
Brunetty2: Why do you think so?
Smiley76: It is an important day in history and should be a day to mourn.
Brunetty2: What if you had a family member die on this day?
Smiley76: I would definitely want to take the day off to mourn with family.
Brunetty2: Well thank you for your time.
Smiley76: No problem, I hope you get published!

I was very happy to have a chance to speak with Sweeetie2, the y-mail helper of the month!

Brunetty2: Should students go to school on September 11th?
Sweeetie2: No, you should not and I am not going to school!
Brunetty2: Why do you think so?
Sweeetie2: It is a day that reminds you of terrorists, and how you can lose everything any minute.
Brunetty2: What if you had a family member die on this day?
Sweeetie2: No doubt I would take off from school to be with family and remember my loved ones that died on that day.
Brunetty2: Well thank you for your time.
Sweeetie2: You're welcome!

Well as you can see Whyvillians have different opinions. That's why I wanted this article to show that you can have your own opinion and not be ashamed. You can feel sad, mad, or glad about this day. It's your mind, attitude, and feelings that make this day a special day for you and others. Put forth bad attitude so will others. Hope you liked my article!!
