Hello my fellow friends! Well, I was thinking, and during that time, I said to myself, "Wow glitsygirl really has a good column, and her articles get in pretty much every week, I wish I could do that!" So now I'm trying it. Except instead of doing something like "Emmy's Logo's Here," I thought I would write something different. Something I don't think too many people here on Whyville have done before.

Let me introduce you to "Mattie's World". This is a diary of mine, which will include problems at school, friends, and events. Now, I do not want to get too personal because of course this online, and some of my friends might not want me using their names, and I definitely will not use my school name, street address, etc. Instead, I will replace my friends names with different names. Say there was a girl named Jill, I might replace her with Jean. (But I don't know someone with either of those names anyway.)

But all of you are the biggest part of this column, you guys need to give advice on what the solution to this problem should be. You need to post your own advice in the BBS of course! Because these articles will mostly be about problems I don't know how to solve. They might not only help you, but if someone else was reading your advice, they could help out a lot of people with the same problem.

Want to get started? Because I do! I have already written my very first part. Well, here it goes, I really hope it's good enough for the times.

October 3rd, 2007.

Dear friend,

Did you ever have a feeling, that you need to help someone out, like a friend or family member, but they don't exactly want your help because of their fear of getting in trouble? I know what you're thinking, (besides that being a totally bad run-on sentence) you're thinking, yes. Well, me too.

You see, my friend, "Beth", she has a lot of trauma going on in her life. There's one thing she only told me and no one else about. (like she had to tell me of all people.) She told me not to tell anyone, because she does not want help with this, and she can do it on her own. I have a fear she is getting sick. She gets skinnier almost every time I see her, and she skips lunch. I'm so scared. I do not know if I should tell anyone, like a guidance counselor or the principal. What should I do? Please help!

*Mattie*
