"Trick or treeaaaat!" it's what you usually hear in that fun ol' night of the 31st of October. Little kids with their pumpkin baskets full of sweets, collecting candy from house to house. We all agree, it's a fun night for little ones and for big ones too!

According to an online dictionary, "The term Halloween (and it's older rendering Hallowe'en) is shortened from All-hallow-even". It was a Pagan festival for the Celts of Ireland and Great Britain.

Halloween is probably the most fun night of the year! We get to wear costumes of our liking, and eat all the candy we want.

Now, Halloween isn't always that safe. We should be careful with the people we talk to, and the candy we accept. Now I'm giving you some tips on how to be safe on Halloween.

1. If you're still little, ask for your parents to go with you and keep an eye on you.

2. Most teenagers, including myself, don't want to hang out with our parents! If you don't want your parents watching what you do all night, then hang in big groups. Ask your friends to go with you.

2. Little ones, when you receive your candy, and head home, check all the wrappers to see if any are open. If its open, don't take a risk, just don't eat it. Also ask your parents to check any other weird things that can be on your candy.

3. Some of you may think that vandalism is cool, and fun. Well it's not. Vandalism is a crime, whether you throw eggs, or "TP" a house, it's wrong. You may have fun at the moment you're doing it, but cops are always around, and it wont be fun having to explain why were you "tp-ing" a house, and eventually, you will be grounded.

There are plenty more tips to go, but those are the most important, and if you follow them, they will keep you safe and out of trouble.

There are people who use Halloween night to do all sorts of bad stuff to children and teens, so do your best to keep your family, your friends and yourself safe.

Get up, put you're costume on because it's Halloween!

Now I'ma sign off
