Nerdishh here. On October 30th, Whyville had it's yearly Halloween party! Many people showed up and it was very crowded. But the first thing everyone was talking about was the Halloween Costume Contest. Everywhere you went all you heard was "vote for me!" I've read articles in the past about how it got annoying . . . but if you got into it, it was fun. :)

Even people who didn't dress up said to vote for them! People would exchange votes and some would even bribe! Tut tut . . . no one wanted clams or face parts. They wanted to win!

It was so much fun. It was the first one I've ever been to and I wasn't disappointed. I got in when it started (the password was "ymmum" for anyone who didn't know) but had to take an hour break (much to my dismay) and when I returned, I found I needed some catching up to do! Just from that hour, I went from high up in the rankings to number 23!

So I worked, and worked, and probably annoyed the snot out of some people along the way, but I finally got number 17 or so. :D I knew I probably wouldn't win, but I was glad I got in the top 20.

(No doubt it will be posted who wins, so I won't bother putting it here. Congrats to who did win!)

Now some pictures from the party: A table with some of the most disgusting things you can imagine.

The next picture was a place that was like a center of voting, where people would yell out for people to vote for them, but no one ever really did :) The creepy organ music in the background really added to the spookiness of it all.

The party was so fun. Talking to people and seeing what they were going to be in real life for Halloween, and seeing how many votes you could get . . . priceless. Next year, though, I'll be shooting for first place. :o)

Nerdishh; Happy Halloween!!
