Yes Whyville, it's the job you've all been waiting for! I know many people were interested in becoming a City Worker one day so I gathered some information and did the best I could to find out what this job is like. Sorry there isn't much, but this was all I could possibly get.

City Workers are the adults who work for Numedeon Inc. There are several types of City Workers; there are programmers, developers, project managers, people who work in art and many more. There are people who work in many different departments but the majority of them work in City Management. But no matter what they work with, all City Workers get a City Worker account. Many Whyvillians assume that City Workers only monitor the site but that is only City Management. One group of City Management workers handle 911 reports, and another group deals with City Management mail.

The requirements to become a City Worker are different depending on what kind of City Worker you are planning on becoming. For example, artists need to know Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, while another type of City Worker would not need these same requirements. You should be Internet savvy and good with computers. I also know many Whyvillians want to be a City Worker just as a job before college. This probably would not be possible. For a part time job you need to be 18 years old and in college. Some stay until they graduate from college, and others move up to a higher position in the company.

I know everyone is dying to know the salary of a City Worker. This however, is confidential. I did find the average salary of people working with computers such as a Computer and Information Systems Manager. The median of most of these jobs is usually at least $80,000 a year. In California the median wage is $114,000 a year, so this may give you a little bit of an idea.

This is the most information I could give you, but I hope it was helpful to you. Thanks for reading.
