Whyville's Ornament of Choice
The votes are in!

Didn't you just love that Christmas Tree in Whyville Square? I sure did. It was already such a surprise for me on Christmas morning to wake up to a snow-covered Whyville, I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw the tree, all lit up with decorations.

Throughout Christmas Day, the tree got more and more colorful as Whyvillians contributed to its decoration. I must say that this has been one of my very favorite things this holiday season.

But time and tide wait for no one. Now that the holidays are over, the Christmas tree won't be around much longer, so it's a good time to look into the ballot box and see what Whyvillians had to say about all the ornaments that were on the tree. More than a hundred votes were cast. Some enthusiastic comments include:

"Wicked ornament!"

"I love smiley faces, don't you? Great job!

"it is the best!"

Among the many Christmas balls that were well-liked, the most popular one belonged to AngelFace. Congratulations, AngelFace! You'll be receiving an award of 100 clams. One of your supporters said, "This is a very pretty ornament and shows part of our history: specifically the 70s." Any truth in this, AngelFace?

Folks, send AngelFace some Y-mail to congratulate her by clicking on her picture above!

Though it was Christmas, apparently not everybody was subsumed by fuzzy feelings of good cheer. Some not-so-enthusiastic comments appeared in the ballot box as well:

"May I say, How Uglier Can It Get?!"

"Worse than the worst"

"Theres nothing on it and now thanks to you i can't put up one because you took the last place."

and, last but certainly not the least biting, :

"Please, do a better ornament next time."

Ouch.

'Til next year, folks!
