We are brain leaves,
Hanging from the same tree;
We are robots,
Tuned to one frequency;

You're the right arm
And I am the left arm;
Together, we can do so much harm
But together we have so much charm

Under this game
We are just the same;
Call me lover, call me friend,
Leave your number, leave your name

When storms rip away our roots,
We whisper, still, "Hey, I'll see you soon.";
When gales and gusts get us gone,
We'll still have been the lucky ones

We'll still have known what love is like;
We are what love is like,
We are what love is like
We are what love is like
