Author's Note: This story is about a girl's addiction, but not to drugs, but the Internet. I don't care if this is ever published and I know you guys won't like it, and if you do, thank you! To start off this article just imagine you first time online. Just think about the websites you went too. The ones you will never go back too and the ones that are dear to your heart. Just think. If you imagine a girl sitting at a Dell computer than maybe it is me. Well here I go. Just listen.

I was a little girl. Yes, hard to believe, but true. My first time online consisted of Barbie.com and pollypocket.com, or something like that. That was way before my addiction. Yes I am completely addicted to the Internet.

My days on those "kiddish" sites consisted of safe games. I mean safe. I played weird games. Sadly I don't remember much and I am too scared of Barbie and Polly pockets to go back. I will tell you I spent maybe at least a half an hour on the Internet in those days.

My addiction grew as I found addictinggames.com. Just to let you know they must have achieved their goal because I loved their games. They were fun, and cool. What else can I say. Games, they kept me entertained. I was out of my parents hair for an hour a day. What more could they ask for from me? Why wouldn't I be addicted I mean really I was on ADDICTINGgames.com. I was meant to be addicted to this. REALLY! The worst was yet to come.

Then one peaceful morning I was eating my cereal and BAM, millsberry.com came into the picture. This site is where you have to stay healthy by eating good food. You earn a currency of millsbucks. They had arcade games, which I guess I was good at since I became quite rich and overwhelmed in the on going earning of 'millsbucks'. I guess this is when my addiction kicked in since I was on for three or four hours a day.

My addiction skyrocketed when I found myself with 20 accounts. On a site I call dolls. Really the site is stardoll.com. I used to just spend hours dressing up the people. Then my friend Christine sent me an e-mail inviting me to join. Wait it was Laura. Never mind. I made an account, Rairai21. Then I made another hola30. Or something like that. I kept on making accounts. I was ready to quit when I boy asking me weird questions. Not personal but like he was some kind of sex offender. I was only 9, what do you want me to do. I mean really. I was on for five or six hours a day.

While on stardoll, I heard of a cool site called girlsense.com. I decided checking it out wouldn't hurt. So I typed in girlsense.com. A site came up. I joined as Rairai21. This site was awesome I got to design my own clothes and sell them. I guess I became quite popular because of my great clothes. This site was the best so far until I was forced to quit because of it giving my computer viruses. I was really sad that I had to put away my dream of designing clothes. At least I still had paper! I was spending six or maybe seven hours on the computer.

Then one day I was reading a magazine and an ad for Whyville was in it. I really wanted to join since my favorite magazine had an add for it plus I got a free pair of sunglasses. I thought I would be an awesome looking Whyvillian since the people looked cool in the ad. Sadly I joined as a weird Newbie. I spent days in the cafeteria and days working on my salary. I would chat with my friends that I met and thank them for helping me win clams in the recycle game. Now I am on whyville from when I get home around 3:00 until maybe 8:00 or 8:30. I love Whyville and that's all I will say.

I know I will sometime move on from Whyville to a site I will like better. It seems to be my pattern. Right now I want to design my own website, once I become an actress. On that site people could chat with me when I am on. Everyday a person would win a metal to put on their page if their profile is nice and cool. Only one person would win daily. Sounds like fun and I am still coming up with it. Mostly like a fan site for me.

Anyway, my goal was to tell you how addicting the Internet is. So I guess I am over and out.

Off to finish my math homework . . . dang I have to get off the computer.
Bye,
*Rairai21*
