Author's Note: I composed the following poems over the past year. Rather than giving each a separate title, seeing as they are relatively short, I simply decided to name the collection.

Such horrid whispering.
Lies, breathing, lurking among us,

--------------------------------

The harmless earth cries,
Silent sobs of innocence.
What have we become . . .?

No help answering her wants.

An uncontrollable monstrosity,
Devouring innocence.
