Getting to Know the People of Whyville

by Vanilla
Times Reporter

Sure, you've met some of our members in Whyville Square or in other parts of Whyville when you just happened to meet someone, but do you REALLY know them? I interviewed a few of my fellow Whyville civilians on everything about them that they were willing to share.

The first person I interviewed was Pearberry. Her name is Kelly and she was born in California and moved to NC when she was just a baby. Pearberry is one of our newer members and so far, she thinks that Whyville is a pretty cool place. "I hope that in the future of Whyville there will be higher salaries and maybe Whyville pets that you can adopt. That would be cool." Pearberry has two older sisters and is currently dog-sitting a dog named Tolstoy. "He is the worst dog I've ever met!" You can tell she doesn't like her job that much! Don't worry Kell, we feel your pain.

The next Whyville civilian that I intervied was SpazChick, fellow classmate of mine, who's name is Kellie (that's right, two Kelly(ie)'s in this article) and she lives in North Carolina also. Her username describes herself very well! At school she is known for her sarcasm and sometimes annoying jokes! BUT, she's still our friend. SpazChick is not a new member, but she's not a member who has been here for ages. She is the one that introduced me to the site and pretty much knows her way around. "The site is pretty cool. It's better than a lot of other sites and I'll leave it at that." All that SpazChick asks is that you vote for her face, house, interior, and write her lots o' notes!

The third person I interviewed was one whom I found quite interesting when we got talking. Her username is Goddess aka Tori, and she is from London, England. She moved to New York when she was five years old and still lives there now. "I've been in America for quite some time now, and I really like it. Whyville is a wonderful site to meet new people and get to know people from all around the world. It's just great." Goddess currently doesn't have a house now, but will soon. As for her hopes for HER future, she wants to become a super model or an actress. Well Goddess, we'll all be watching when you win your Academy Award! Good luck!

This last person isn't really a person I interviewed, but is someone that I think is a devoted Whyville civilian, SahuBoy. If you have ever seen his house, you would know why many of us envy him. His house is one of the top 5 houses that were striving to win first place as the best house in Whyville, and I don't know about you, but I voted for him! Quote *AngelGurl*, "I think that he is a very devoted member and shows other people that they need to be a little bit more creative with their life. He is kinda like an inspiration."

If you would like to know more about the citizens of Whyville, then go and chat with them. Send them letters to get to know them and meet as many people as you can on Whyville; that's what it's all about. I, personally, would like to hear from ALL of you as a devoted Whyville civilian myself. I would like to get to know the people of Whyville, and help them in any way as I can such as helping with questions, problems they are having, or just being a friend. This is Vanilla signing off! Have a great day!
