On February 2nd the first Whyville Times Awards show was held at the Greek Theatre. The chatroom was packed with nominees who were awaiting the results of their nominations, and everyone seemed to be happy and excited. But backstage this was a different story. The writers who had multiple nominations deemed themselves 'special' and had many requests that needed to be met -- or they threatened to be absent from the WTA. So various City Workers agreed to help the nominees meet their demands before the WTA. Between the chaos, I was desperately trying to interview these nominees for the Whyville Times. However things weren't turning out so well . . .

City Hall offered to assist ushersg with her dressing room needs . . .

Lovedyed was in charge of hair and makeup but rochrox's beauty needs were getting ugly . . .

Mokey6 and AMae were arguing about mokey6's acceptance speech . . .

It wasn't just the girls that were being divas. Ps2man1 was concerned about camera time and decided to complain to MediaWiz . . .

It looked like the City Workers were getting angry and fed up with these orders! The WTA ceremony didn't go so smoothly either. The show was interrupted by many unexpected visitors. First, ps2man1 decided to take the stage and host the show. But the crowd was displeased and he was booed.

Maybe we should've paid attention to what ps2man1 was saying about the ninja! The next visitor was the Scion Stealing Ninja and he crashed the Greek Theatre to get revenge on AMae.

Luckily Christa (nicenfun) and Morgan (Morgan612) were at the WTA, and were able to chase the ninja away! The last visitors were out of this world-- literally! Two green Whyvillians thought the WTA face part was a missing piece of their spaceship! Thankfully Savvyx33 guided them in the right direction. But who were they? Either they were aliens or they were two Whyvillians who took the Alien Rescue Game waayyy too seriously . . .

After the WTA the City Workers called the demanding nominees backstage. Then they 'mysteriously' disappeared . . .

Ooh, ouch! It looks like messing with the City Workers wasn't such a good idea! But there was also another result. When the writers didn't get what they wanted, they decided to go on strike. I knew I saw some familiar faces at the WGA Writer's Strike!

Remember, this series is not meant to offend anyone. By the way if you have an idea for the next issue, y-mail me! I might just use it for my comic-- and if I do, I'll credit you for the idea.
