Jeez, Leo, how could you be so unintelligent?! Clearly, you titled LASPTBTOE wrong, because we are NOT doing tours this week . . . Erm, right; I guess that was me who named it . . .

Okay so, I'm temporarily changing the name of LASPTBTOE to LASPTBFOE; but I guess you could just switch the letters 'F' and 'T' in what we're going to be doing this week and actually keep LASPTBTOE . . . But then it'd be called Leo and Soyer Present The Best Tesfivals On Earth, and that doesn't really make much sense.

Yeah, so, we're doing festivals this week on LASPTBTOE and we have a treat for you. Not the usual two, but three, yeah, THREE whole entire festivals for you to enjoy and go to. We've got Bamboozle, Lollapalooza and Oxegen for you to feast your eyes on and then attend.

Well, Leo, would you like to start us off?

Bamboozle

Bamboozle. What more can you say? A lot, actually. What is it? Where is it held? When? What type of bands? Calm down, kids. I'd be happy to answer your questions.

It's surprising how many people actually haven't heard of Bamboozle. For one of the biggest rock festivals on the east coast, it's not really talked about. Nevertheless, thousands of teenagers and music fans appear for the two day festival held in New Jersey.

Over the years, 2003 to present, to be specific, many amazing bands have played at Bamboozle. These include The Roots, My Chemical Romance, Thrice, Taking Back Sunday, (Soyer! We should have gone! Dude, I know! Like, I'm seriously envious of those who actually did go!) Fall Out Boy, Muse, Brand New, Linkin Park, Boys Like Girls, Hellogoodbye, Bayside, New Found Glory, Hawthorne Heights, Scary Kids Scaring Kids and so, so many more. I could tell you just half of them but by then you'd be bored.

2008 is a fun year for Bamboozle. They are putting on something called the Bamboozle Road Show, which instead of a two-day festival, will be an entire tour going from March 28th to May 2nd. Some of the bands going on the Bamboozle Road Show are Armor for Sleep, Saves the Day, Metro Station and Set Your Goals.

The line up for the actual Bamboozle Festival this year is beyond your imagination. In other words, spectacular. Here are just a few.

- Aiden
- All Time Low
- Less than Jake
- The Academy Is . . .
- Gym Class Heroes
- Senses Fail
- Straylight Run
- Cute is What We Aim For
? Chiodos
- Jeffree Star (I think Fallyn would like this one, Leo.)

Again, so many more, folks. It's going to be an amazing year for Bamboozle. An even better year for you if you go to Bamboozle. That's right. Bamboozle 2008 will be held May 3rd and 4th.

Lollapalooza

Ah, now we come to the great Lollapalooza. What a mouthful, indeed. These festivals sure like a lot of Z's and O's in their names, don't your agree?

Lollapalooza Festival is quite a festival indeed. Not only does it feature great rock, alternative, hip-hop and punk music, but it also serves up comedy shows, booths, crafts and dances. Lollapalooza is known for many, many things, one of them being created by Jane's Addiction singer Perry Farrel. The festival originally started as a farewell tour to Jane's Addiction, but in the end came out so much more than that. It's truly a festival of youth culture.

Since 1991, the festival has gone through many downfalls, rises and a lot of fun times. When Alternative music exploded in the 90's, Lollapalooza really got popular. Soon they added a second stage, a third in 1996. Lollapalooza has many fun things to do besides moshing and crowd surfing. Like I said before, there are art tents, gaming places, comedy acts and much more.

Lollapalooza, being so old, has hosted many legends on their stages. A few of them are The Smashing Pumpkins, Jane's Addiction, of course, Rage Against the Machine, Beastie Boys, The Flaming Lips, The Verve, The Ramones, Audioslave, The Distillers. Even newer, bigger acts have hopped onto the Lollapalooza festivals, such as Panic! At the Disco (Leo, you KNOW that they dropped the '!' Cause I think I told you that important fact), The Shins, Blue October, Mute Math, Kill Hannah, Amy Winehouse, and so many more.

A few of the bands for 2008's line up are:

- The Cool Kids
- MGMT
- Dierks Bentley
- Bloc Party

The 2008 dates are August 1st-3rd. (Lalala, that's Soyer's birthday!)

Oxegen

So Soyer didn't like the one that Leo told her that she should have done, so she came up with another, mainly because she likes the performers better.

So, we've got Oxegen. A three-day festival in July in where else but Ireland? Wait, wait, wait. You're probably thinking, "What in the world is Soyer thinking right now to actually be talking about a festival that happens in Ireland? There's nothing in Ireland that I would listen to!"

Well guess what? You're wrong. If you like any of the following bands, a trip to Ireland may be on your list of things to do this summer:

- Muse
- Snow Patrol
- Avril Lavigne
- The Goo Goo Dolls
- The Killers
- Arcade Fire
- Bloc Party
- My Chemical Romance
- The Black Eyed Peas
- P!nk
- The Saw Doctors
- and many, many more.

While Oxegen has only been around since 2004, it was previously known as Witnness, which ran from 2000. Originally, it was a two day festival, but because of the large number of music acts and attendees (which is over 80,000 per day, not including those who are camping), they added another day, making it a three day festival.

On top of having six stages, theres two large camping areas to fend your every need while staying the weekend at Oxegen. There's also a roller coaster and shops to entertain yourselves with when you aren't listening to the fabulous music acts. Sure, it may not be as entertaining as Lollapalooza, but it's still something.

There you have it?so many festivals. It doesn't need to be a long, famous tour to be fun. There are many small festivals near you, and maybe even some of the ones we mentioned near you to enjoy. Until next week, we must leave you.

Ah, the sweet smell of tours is coming your way soon enough . . .

PS: Soyer says: "Leo, I'll tell you what I told Matt: My lack of money is the only thing preventing me from seeing Silverstein. I'm broke."
PPSS: Leo says: "Aww, that sucks. Silverstein are amazing. I'm broke, too. Let's be broke together!"
PPPSSS: Soyer says: ?Haha, okay!?
