Will You Be My Friend?

Will you be my friend?
To my ways, could you bend?
Will you let me have my say?
And maybe brighten up my day?
Will you share your cookie with me?
We could whisper 'bout that cute guy, Lee.
Will you give me a piece of your birthday cake?
If you will I'll help you bake.
Will you sit with me at lunchtime?
And buy us pops, for a dime?
Would you call me over, too?
We could watch movies, me 'n' you!
You won't laugh at me, will you?
I hope not, cause other kids do.
You won't let them bully me!
Cause I don't want to be hurt, you see.
I think we could be best buds.
Cause I think for now, that we're both duds.

HaHaHa

When we laugh,
It's over something daft.
Like spilled milk,
Or a tripping elk.
Sometimes when we laugh, though,
It might be over a long forgotten row.
But would you laugh if someone said,
They didn't like you 'cause your skin was red?
Would you laugh, if someone was unique?
Or if, perhaps, they had the name Monique?
Would you laugh, if someone needed a friend,
And push them off, and never mend?
You might laugh if someone falls,
But would you help if it were you she calls?
You may laugh, others do.
But what if, the left out one was you?
