I am very focused on horoscopes and getting in touch with my inner self through astrology. Since I was young I have always constantly checked my horoscope to predict my future. Most of my influence comes from my mother who is an avid believer that the stars can somehow predict the personalities, fortunes and misgivings of people. She instilled these beliefs in me, and these beliefs are what causes me to check the newspaper or online websites to find out my daily horoscope.
However horoscopes didn't begin with my 'psychedelic' mother. Astrology began with the ancient Greeks (specifically the Chaldeans from Babylon) in 3000 BC. In Greek, 'astrology' means 'Science of Stars'. This is because the Greeks believed that the Sun and planets' positions could affect someone's life. They studied the positions of components in space and used their knowledge to predict people's future. In 500 BC a philosopher named Plato studied Astrology in great detail. His findings were passed down from generation to generation and eventually through Asia.
Capricorn
December 22 - January 19
Capricorns are practical, hard working and realistic. They enjoy planning and have a strong determination to accomplish their goals. Watch your money! Capricorns are really generous to friends in need. Capricorns are also very loving and caring. They are extremely loyal friends and are good at giving advice.
Since Capricorns give so much love and respect to their friends, they deserve an equal amount back. Capricorns have a hard time letting go of the past, and forgiving and forgetting. If they are betrayed by someone they trust, they will rarely contact them.

However Pisces are very shy and quiet. They blame themselves for almost anything-- even things that aren't related to them. They can also easily become too reliant and dependent about others. Being too needy is not a good quality because Pisces need self assurance from their friends so they know they're appreciated. Also Pisces are easily influenced by their friends.
