Spring Break in Canada!

Shopbabe
Far-Flung Reporter

Hi, this is shopbabe. My school went on a spring break trip to Canada. It was a fun experience for the whole crew. I'm glad that I decided to join the fun!

Day 1:

We had to meet in the gym at school. We were supposed to be there at 11:00 pm, but the travel bus was delayed, so then we had to get there at 1:00 am! I was so excited that I didn't sleep at all during the day. When we got to the school all the luggage was piled in front of the gym. I played basketball to pass the time till the bus came. When it did come (about 4:00 am!) we had to load the bus with the students. We waited for the luggage to be loaded. Then we were off to Canada!

My mom packed me food for the trip up there. (Good thing, too, because I had to wait till 7:00 am.) We drove through Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, (it was a very long drive and a boring one, too, except the scenery!) then New York! We saw all sorts of land forms.

Finally we reached the Canadian Border! Yay! After we crossed the border we went straight to the hotel! Then we went out to eat at Planet Hollywood! We came back to the hotel to get some rest because he had a bigger day ahead for us!

Day 2:

We didn't wake up till 15 minutes till we had to leave. We hurried and got ready for the tour of Niagara Falls! We picked up the tour guide and headed off to an old British Fort that was used during the Middle Ages. There we had a tour through what looked like a castle! We saw the rooms of the soldiers and the courtyard. It was lunchtime so we went to McDonald's.

After that fun morning we went hiking up the creeks of Niagara Falls. It was so beautiful I spent a whole roll of film on Niagara Falls. It was a long hike but it was worth it.

When we got done it was dinnertime. We had a little time to go through the town and do some shopping. Of course I did the shopping part! When I got back to the hotel I got ready to go out to dinner, Hard Rock Cafe. Then we went back to the falls and saw the lights over Niagara. What a sight!

By then I was tired! But we still had to go swimming. I was glad that I went instead of sleeping. Of course when we got back to our room we pigged out on junk food!

We were supposed to pack before we went to sleep, but it didn't work out that way. When I got up we had little time to get ready so we had to stuff everything in our suitcases. Then get ready and eat something on the breakfast bar. Then we were off to Toronto!

When we got there we had to log in the hotel. It was a luxurious place! We put our things in the hotel and met back in the lobby. After the teacher did the head count we were off to another castle. But when we got there, a movie production was making a movie there! It is called Skulls 2. I got autographs from some of the Dawson's Creek actors. That was the most fun I ever had!

We had to be quiet because they were rehearsing a scene. After the amusement wore off, we took a tour through the castle. The richest man in Canada built that house for him and his family. After he died the house was donated to the state.

Soon we left and went to a Medieval Times dinner show! It was so cool! We had to eat with our hands and the silverware was just like in the Middle Ages. They did a show with competitions and sword fights. There were other schools there too! Our knight won the whole thing and he had to pick a princess out of us -- I didn't get picked, but I still had fun.

Well, that was my middle school's trip to Canada ! There was a lot and I mean a lot of really nice people there!
