Unfortunately, I missed the Halloween party! :O! I know, how stupid am I? I couldn't get in because it was too busy. But I hear it was really cool! Stairs, heads, costumes, all that stuff! Oh and projectiles! Sweet, man! Too bad it's gone... don't ya think it should be up for longer? I dunno if Whyville is planning a Xmas or a New Year's party, but that too would be tres cool! Well, better motter.

Hey y'all! Today, I was on Whyville, when it hit me. Why do I love Whyville? I mean, it's almost Thanksgiving, and I am thankful for many things, including Whyville. I thought, and all of the wonderful memories came rushin' out of my head. When I was a newbie, being looked down upon, no one would talk to me. I made a decent face, and started makin' friends like Samgirl21 and Starfrog. Those are just a few. Then, I got my salary up to around 68. I looked better, and made more friends.

Finally, I was starting to be more popular. I made 70 clams a day, and then learned the dances, and made 75 clams, like now. I got an awesome face (people do think that, lol) and I became more and more popular every week. I went through around 4 b/fs, which I dumped mostly (lol) and I helped more newbies. I donated all of my old things to Grandma, like I do every day, and I became a daughter to my lovin' mom koolchic, my Aunt TigerifiC, my grandma googles, and many more. I then got a new b/f AEsurfer, and that comes up to now.

Thank You for reading, and thank you City Hall, Bigfoot, Jen, Mark, and all of the other workers for makin' the best site ever, Whyville.

Hi! I think Whyvillians should know about holidays that they don't celebrate so I will pay 25 clams to the best interview for each of the following holidays: Hanukkah, Christmas, and Kwanzaa. Write to me answering... What exactly are you celebrating? What is the best part of the holiday in your opinion? Do you do anything significant (such as lighting the menorah)? Do you receive anything on this holiday? What comments do you have about it? Please include any history or tales if you can.

Thank You! This is GlitzGal4, signing off! Also, if you celebrate another holiday that I didn't mention feel free to y-mail me about it.

Note from the Editor: You're also welcome to send articles about holidays you celebrate straight to the Times! We're always looking to expand Whyville's horizons....

Now, lately I have being hanging out in Whyville a lot because it's such a great place! But there is one thing that needs fixing in Whyville. You Whyvillians should be happy you have Whyville but some of us don't show it. People are cursing and being mean and even sometimes when newbies ask for clams they turn them down! Just think about when you were a newbie and needed clams.

But the main thing that I am concerned about is the being mean and cursing. Now people of Whyville, that's just plain mean and not nice. You wouldn't want to be teased if you were a newbie and were kind of on the ugly side! And it's really not right to swear because it's, just, well, it's bad!!

This is important. Especially with all these holidays coming up! So please, before you start making fun of a newbie or starting a fight with a person, think about the article that skaterone wrote.

Thanks for reading.

Yours truly,
Skaterone

Whyville banishing is a hard thing to go through, especially if you don't have another name. That happened to my friend (I won't say who, though, sorry). She was fine and then one day tried to log in and her name had been banished!!! She was very sad and never wanted to go onto Whyville... but when time passed, she made a new name and worked her way to the top like before.

She is my best friend, and I hope that that never happens to her, myself ,or the rest of you Whyvillians. I just want to tell you that if you or your friends EVER get banished, don't just give up. Try your hardest to succeed again. That's what my friend did... and she succeeded.

I've learned through my time in Whyville that Whyville is all about teaching and about being the best you can be at things, and that's what my friend learned too.

I hope that all you learn that too. That's what makes Whyville... Whyville!
