Twas just days before Christmas,
and all through the town,
all the Whyvillians are running around...

There were stockings and wreaths,
and new objects galore,
With everyone rushing to Akbar's for more...

Sending presents and letters,
and greeting cards too,
we are so busy, there's so much to do...

The Whyology survey is over and done,
hope there's another one,
it was oh so much fun...

The new Solstice Safari has spots on the teams,
travelling to new places,
earning clams for more dreams ...

The New Year's Masquerade is just round the bend,
Whyvillians get dressed up,
and dance 'til the night ends...

So in parting I wanted to pass on to all,
Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah,
