G'day! It's XCELR8 from down under!

I have had many encounters with Whyvillians who think the safety features of Whyville are for playing with. Giving out warnings for no reason but to prove something is not the way to make friends. I shall not mention any names, but I was once threatened with the 911 response and I was furious -- how could someone be so blackhearted as to call the police! It wouldn't have bothered me though, as I live in Australia, and the number here is 000.

Please, if you do give out warnings without reason, take this article into consideration and STOP.

Have you seen fights in Whyville? Did you have a say in it? Were you the one who started it? What were they about?

I have seen fights on Whyville, like who's going out with who, who's a newbie and who's and oldbie. But have you seen punks and preps fight?

I have found that every time I go into a room, I get warned and called a freak just because of the way I look! I try to ignore criticism, although it gets to me sometimes. Being judged on the way you look doesn't make you feel any better, but yet, when you're making fun of people, it's somehow ok to you?

It's not really fair. Just because "punks" don't fit in your group doesn't mean they're not good people... they're just different. What I'm trying to say is, just because some people are different than you doesn't mean they're freaks. We should learn to respect others based on who they really are, not based on what they look like. If people could take the chance to get to know us, you might be suprised! Punk is an attitude, not just the way you dress. Everyone desires a little respect.

Dear Whyville,

As you understand, Whyville has been a growing community since a long time ago. And certain things make Whyville what it is today. But without the Whyville Times, Whyvillians wouldn't know about what's happening in Whyville, or about poll results. I think that the Whyville Times is a very important thing, and I think that Whyville reporters/writers are extremely important to Whyville. Thank you for your time.
