When doors won't show their handles,
windows open wide
and when you step between their angles everything comes alive

Lay your head upside down again,
your fingers writhing-
under the sun, hot and red
they're dropping like flies and

the world fades back from black,
it reminds me of home,
the place where i relaxed
before i was alone

but, all cards on the table,
your hand is great and gold.
Before you are no longer able,
take what you hold

When you step outside again,
you will plainly see
that though the sky cries rain
it's happy as can be because

when all cards are on the table,
your hand is great and gold.
Before you are no longer able,
take what you hold

All cards on the table,
your hand is great and gold.
Before you are no longer able,
take what you hold

All cards on the table,
my hand is great and gold.
Before I am no longer able
I will take what I hold

Before I am no longer able,
I will take what I hold
