Last week, in the BBS, I got an overwhelming response from citizens who liked more 'outgoing' makeup. Now, that doesn't mean I'm never going to write about lighter makeup . . . but this article is for the girls who like outgoing makeup, a makeup company called Urban Decay, and saving money. Why, you ask? Because this makeup company is owned by Urban Decay; you basically get the same products from Urban Decay for cheaper, and it's still outgoing.

Now, remember two weeks ago when I raved about UD's 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil? Well, if you go to Hard Candy and search for their Glitter Eye Pencils, you will find almost the EXACT pencil (with a few less/different colors) for $9.00 cheaper! The only real difference from the 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil and the Glitter Eye Pencil, is that the Glitter Eye Pencil isn't waterproof.

Even take their Eye-Candy eye shadows! Hard Candy has 14 colors each of them $6.25 (from their half-off Summer sale -- -where all their products are half-off), while UD's eye shadows rang from $16.00 to $18.00. You're saving approximately $10-$12 (and 25 cents) worth of eye shadows! Now, the only catch that you'll see is: UD has 51 eye shadows, while Hard Candy has 14.

So, who am I saying to buy from? My point about Hard Candy is they have almost the exact same things, but a little less variety then UD --- and you can end up saving a good chunk of change. Hard Candy also has a lot of palettes for a cheap price, which is also why I give them a thumb's up. You can get 8-9 lip glosses and 4-8 eye shadows in 1 palette for about $8.00-$12.00 (which is a steal).

So, what's my favorite thing from Hard Candy? Their Eye-Candy eye shadow in 'Licorice'. I like this because I usually line my eyes with eye shadow. Meaning I will take an angled brush (with synthetic or goat hairs) and swipe it in Licorice, and get my eyes lined perfectly. I also like this because it doesn't swipe away so easily on my bottom inner-lid.

Author's Note: There's not much that you can really say about Hard Candy, thus making this week's 'Cruelty-Free' shorter than usual. Also, the only reason why I didn't use actual models for the pictures is because Hard Candy doesn't supply models wearing their products . . . and that's why you have pictures of 2-D 'models'.

Sources: www.HardCandy.com I only used their web site to get the photos of the 2-D 'models'.
