The Jonas Brothers?Nick, 15, Joe, 18, and Kevin, 21?are being portrayed as the hugest music sensation to come around in decades. For the 10 of you who have never heard of the Jonas Brothers, I highly suggest you read this article.

Nicholas Jerry Jonas was born September 16, 1992 in Dallas, Texas. He is the youngest member of the Jonas Brothers, but also the first to break into the music business. Nick was discovered while getting his haircut in a barbershop. This lead to his appearance in 4 Broadway shows, including Beauty and the Beast and Les Miserables. In November 2003, Nick wrote and recorded an original song called "Joy to the World (A Christmas Prayer)". INO Records executives put the song on the radio, and it was then heard by Columbia Records. Nick was originally intended to be signed as a solo artist, but after writing and recording another song which included his brothers Kevin and Joe, Columbia Records decided to sign all three boys.

Nick: "People call me an old soul. It's a nice way to say that I'm like an old man. When I was 3, I acted like I was 30. Now I act like I'm 50. I get made fun of a lot, but it's all good. It's who I am."

Joseph Adam Jonas was born August 16, 1989 in Arizona. He's the middle child and is known for his sense of humor and charm. As the lead vocalist and front man of the Jonas Brothers, it's his job to put on a great show. Joe also played the lead role, along side Demi Lovato, in the Disney Channel Original Movie: Camp Rock. Camp Rock premiered on the Disney Channel June 21, 2008. Mitchie (Demi Lovato) wants to go to a summer camp called Camp Rock, but cannot afford it. At the last minute her mother is offered a job as a caterer at the camp, therefore allowing Mitchie to go. The Jonas Brothers play a band called Connect 3 in the movie. Shane (Joe) is acting out and causing the band to fall apart, so Nate (Nick) and Jason (Kevin) send him to Camp Rock in hopes that he will change his ways. Below are some of JB's thoughts on the movie:

Nick: "I don't think any of us knows what to expect. High School Musical sold 6 million soundtracks worldwide, which is absolutely crazy. If Camp Rock would come anywhere close to that, it would be amazing."

Joe: "My character is a jerk in the movie! It was definitely fun to create a new personality. Now people will see something totally different than just Joe."

Nick: "Personally, I find the acting thing to be a little more difficult than music. It's fun, but I sometimes get nervous around the cameras?I forget my lines and stuff like that. But we had a great time shooting the movie. Joe did an amazing job."

As mentioned previously, Joe is the lead singer of the Jonas Brothers. The passion he has for singing is clearly demonstrated after watching any of his performances. It wasn't always this way, though.

Joe: "I was totally not down with singing. I was trying to be cool and just wanted to skateboard and be the funny guy. Seeing the reactions they got from the girls, I was like; maybe I should try and sing. And then I fell in love with it."

Last but not least, Kevin Paul Jonas II was born November 5, 1987 in Wyckoff, New Jersey, making him the oldest brother. He's said to always have a positive attitude, and keeps things exciting. He's the business man of the group, and has a 'passion for fashion'.

Kevin: "When you like something, push the limits. Try layering and putting different styles together. Combining is beautiful."

Kevin: "Someone said I'm the glue; I fill in the cracks between the other two. So that's cool for me."

The great thing about the Jonas Brothers is that they have achieved success through perseverance and hard work. They did not receive any help from an already famous family member. They got to where they are today for one reason and one reason alone: talent. Becoming the music superstars they are today was anything but an easy task. On August 8, 2006 their album It's About Time was released, but it didn't catch on so they lost their record contract. Luckily for them, they were signed by Disney's Hollywood Records in December 2006; this is when their career really took off. On June 18, 2007 the band shot the music video, SOS. Today the video has over 25,920,879 views, and that number is increasing every day. In December 2007 their self titled album went platinum, proving that the Jonas Brothers are here to stay.

Kevin: "In our minds, we haven't even reached where we want to be yet. There's so much more to do!"

Here are some facts on the Jonas Brothers that you may, or may not already know:
