Welcome back to "What Song?". Today I wanted to write about "Songs of Choice" or you could call it "Favorite Songs". Last week I didn't get many song entries so I decided only on "why we write music." I got an entrie from TWR08 that said:

"I think that we write music on how we feel, who we are, or who we want to be. I always write songs on love, and recently I've been sad because my mother died, and I've been writing songs about sorrow. But soon after writing those songs, I remembered she was a Christian and began writing songs about God."

This one stood out to me. Not only because her mom died but she let it out in songs. I'm not trying to pity too much but I can relate to her, not because of my mom dying, she's still alive, but because she lets her feelings out in songs.

Anyway, onto "Songs of Choice". Everyone has a different song of choice, even if someone likes the same song, no two people can be exactly alike. Everyone has their own style, which relates to liking different types of music. I myself like pop, rock, and Christian rock but that's not the point. The point is someone may like the same songs as you but there is usually a song that you like but someone else doesn't or that someone likes and you don't.

For my song of choice I would have to choose "Goodnight and Goodbye" by the Jonas Brothers. That's right, make fun of me because I like them. As I have stated many times everyone has their "song of choice" and nobody can choose it for them or tell them who they are. In fact, not everybody has a favorite song; they may have a favorite artist or genre. Whatever it is, it's who you are. Your music or the music you listen to says quite a bit about you. No, I'm not telling you who to be or to follow the music you listen to, I'm just stating my opinion.

I've written some songs, I'm sure many of you have, but even if you think everyone will like it . . . there's always someone in the world who won't. But not to bring your hopes down, there's always people who will like it. You have to learn to deal with the criticism if you ever become famous.

Songs people write sometimes show how the artist feels or what most people are going through. I write about my feelings mostly and I even dedicate my songs, yes that's right I do. I dedicaed a song to my best friend Haley (didog275) and I do very much thank God for the day we met. In fact she inspired me on a giant birthday card. She had written down a verse so I decided to jot down that verse and talk about it.

My point of this article is different songs come from different people, different people like different songs, and different opinion makes the world go round.

Thank you for reading this has been another "What Song?".
