This week, City Hall has asked me to announce that there's going to be a party.

But wait, it's not what you're thinking. It's not a party in Whyville, but rather, a party for Whyville.

You see, city workers are having a little get-together this Sunday starting 9 pm WST to celebrate Whyville having come through some tough times. After all, city workers work darn hard, even through the holidays. Especially the holidays -- there was the Halloween Party, the Thanksgiving Clam Storm, even a New Year's Masquerade Ball. When Whyville's partying, they're working hard behind the scenes!

Finally, they are taking an evening off to relax and have some fun. But Whyville will be right there with them -- they plan to set up a computer with a big screen, so that citizens can come by and say hello to all the city workers.

So, be sure you drop by and say a how-de-do to City Hall and the city workers. They'll be hanging out around the stage area at the Sportplatz.

Hope to see you there,
The Editor
