Do you remember?
The tears that we had cried
When everyone said
That we were impossible
That it was forbidden
That it would fall, fall, fall . . .

Do you remember?
The oath we had sworn
That no matter what
We would prove them wrong
And we would never fall, fall, fall . . .

Do you remember?
The laughs that we had shared
In the forest, late at night
When we pictured in our minds
The look on the faces of them
When we never did fall, fall, fall . . .

Do you remember?
The food we had stolen
Because we had no way to pay
Because we were gone, and we couldn't ask
Because they would just say we would fall, fall, fall . . .

Do you remember?
The way we held hands
Walking down a street
We had never been to
And no one told us that we were going to fall, fall, fall . . .

Do you remember?
That big fight we had
Over something really small
And I tried to mend it up
But you wouldn't let it go.
I was afraid that our love would fall, fall, fall . . .

Do you remember?
When I was a thousand pieces of shattered glass
And they were proven right
Wait, you couldn't
Because you left.
And I began to fall, fall, fall
