Clouds hang overhead like a dark curtain,
Leaving everything with a shade of gray,
A moist breeze blows past and tells me,
That it's going to rain today.

Raindrops look like shards of glass as they fall,
They make constant pitter-pats when they land,
And they feel cold and refreshing,
When I let them drop on my hand.

Plants shelter the bugs like green umbrellas,
Giving a place to seek shelter under,
This is one small thing I notice,
As I enjoy nature's plunder.

Every breath and heartbeat seem loud,
But the rest of the world is so peaceful,
I like the cool air and the walk,
And I can't help but feel blissful.
