Walking home, like every day
Walking home, the same old way
Same rhythm from our feet
We walk with that same old beat

By tree by tree, we walk on by
Time begins to start to fly
So we sit and talk
Until we need to walk

Friends forever,
Fights are never.
That's what we always say
And it's still true till this day

Until you ride with a friend
And our walking days end
And I end up every day
Walking alone, my own way.

And I talk to myself, and only me
No one else to talk to at our special tree
No one else to sing our special song
But I will press along
