A sunny afternoon in a bistro by the sea
All the little ceramics set out so gracefully
Pinkies carefully raised above our cups of tea
Life doesn't get more beautiful than in wonderful Paris.

Those gregarious folk at the next table, you can see
They are sitting the shade of a rather tall palm tree
They came from America to try the ratatouille
It will be to their liking, that I can guarantee.

The hors d'oeuvres are laid before us oh-so charmingly
That freshly baked bread tastes as splendid as could be
Pass the cream, pass the butter, please pass the aioli!
Everybody loves to live in this land of luxury.
