Senate Race Winner!

Who's the new Whyville Senator???

This past week, Whyvillians selected our community's latest senator. The winner blew the competition away this time around! Your new Senator is... Rebok!

Voting was hosted on the Welcome Page for one week, in which about 4,700 votes were cast. (The 60,000 votes cast in the last election was very out of proportion; this was a low turnout, but not THAT low!)

The final votes came out like this:

  • Rebok - 2,196
  • babeeroxy - 1,681
  • CuTiE1612 - 896

In her platform, Rebok stressed a change in the way plots are handled, extra tools for the Face Factory, dances and parties, and some way for citizens to carry enough projectiles to score at the Zero Gravity game without overloading their accounts. read more...

Half the Time, Twice the Part

Taking the Face Factory to a whole new level.

Have you ever been scrolling along and seen a part at Akbar's that you wished came with a tan body... or black, or white, or some other color? I have, and I believe I've got a solution.

I have taken the liberty to be the first to try this out, but because I am not the best artist in the Face Factory, I strongly encourage other designers try it too:

First, go into the Factory and make basic bodies ONLY, one for each of the different skin tones you plan to design. You will need an undershirt on them, of course, just make it one that won't get in the way. Possible skin tones include: Caucasian, Black, tan, pixie, fairy, goblin, gothic and WhyNot. The key is to make every body essentially the same.

Next, buy one of your bodies, and put it on your face. read more...
