Just over a week ago my town had a terrible incident occur at a nearby school. Our oldest and most appreciated staff member was diagnosed with anemia without even knowing it.
He has had diabetes for many years now, and recently found that diabetes can be a major cause of anemia.
Through research I found that people with cancer, diabetes, chronic kidney disease (CKD), heart disease, rheumatoid arthritis (RA), and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) are at greater risk of contracting this illness.
