One of the taglines for the Disney movie, Bridge to Terabithia, is "Discover a place that will never leave you, and a friendship that will change you forever." To me, that sums up the theme of Bridge to Terabithia. Sometimes we get so caught up in our day-to-day routines, that we can forget how special and meaningful certain friendships and certain places can be to us. Bridge to Terabithia is one of those movies that reminds us to look for the magic and meaning in our lives.

City Hall outlines the rules for the Bridge to Terabithia writing contest.

Calling All Writers!

Disney's Bridge to Terabithia is sponsoring a writing contest. As you might already know, Bridge to Terabithia is a story about the power and magic of imagination and friendship and how both can change your life. On June 19, Disney released the DVD of Bridge to Terabithia. In celebration of the DVD release, submit a real life story about your experience with a place or friendship that has changed your life and "will never leave you."
