Today is Easter. Christians celebrate this day to remember and rejoice in when Jesus Christ was resurrected three days after being crucified. So, wait, what does the Easter Bunny and Easter eggs have to do with all of this? Well let's find out.

First, let's talk about Easter in general. It's named after the goddess of spring, Eastre. It was actually a festival that the pagan Anglo Saxons celebrated in honor of her. They celebrated it each year during the vernal equinox, or as many of us know it, Spring. Christians wanted to convert these pagans in a way most comfortable for them. Basically, they let them keep their festivals and celebrations, however, since Easter was during the time that the Christians honored and celebrated the resurrection of Christ, Easter was then turned into a Christian holiday.

Sqeakers1 does a little experiment.

I stared at the screen of my computer, in total shock. A lot of people were making fun of one girl, for no reason. I wondered how she felt, and how it made people 'cool' to tease her. Then I began to think; what if they became a Newbie, and were treated harshly, would they still treat this girl awfully? What about me? Would it change my outlook on Whyville if I became one again? In order to find out, I realized there was only one way.
