This week's Whyvillian in the Spotlight is . . . MentalCow!

When I think of someone who puts their friends first and will be there for you whenever you need them, I think of my friend Jess, or as many of you know her as, MentalCow.

Jess has been on Whyville for five years, this account being her most recent and active. Jess is sixteen-years-old and lives in Florida, but she isn't your typical beach bum. In fact, Jess would much rather be in the dirt playing softball than in the sand. Softball has been a huge part of Jess's childhood, and in the eight years she has been playing, she has formed a great love for the sport.

Hey, you guys. It's been a while. Over a year, actually, since I last wrote for the Times. I'm really sorry for that. It's just that . . . well, guys, I'm in love. His name is Stan. He's really good at basketball, 3 feet tall, and his pneumatic bucket works flawlessly.

You see, Stan is a robot. His sole purpose in life was to compete in this year's FRC game, Rebound Rumble. You're probably thinking, hold on a second, what the hootenanny is FRC? Well, that, my friends, is why I'm breaking my year long silence to talk to you today.
