Screenshots

To take a screenshot on a Windows computer:
  1. Press the "Print Screen" button (usually on or near the top row of keys, off to the right.)
  2. Click on Start > All Programs > Accessories > Paint.
  3. Inside the Paint program, click on Edit > Paste.
  4. Click on File > Save As...
  5. Pick a location to save it in.
  6. Pick a name for the file.
  7. Pick a file type to save it as. Try something like .GIF, .JPEG, or .TIFF.
To take a screenshot on a MAC computer:
  • Press Command + Shift + 3 (that's the Command key (the Apple key), the Shift key, and the number 3) to take the shot. You will likely hear the sound of a camera shutter snapping. You should find the screenshot saved as a file named something like "Picture1" on your Desktop. To look at it, just double-click it.
